My top tips to connect to the season of winter…

  1. Slow - Use this time to connect to yourself. Whether that be through reading a book over watching your late night tv shows, late night walks instead of a hard gym session. Find ways to slow the evenings down and connect to the darkness.

  2. Soften - At night I try to do a stretching practice, my little humans are usually still awake so we do this together and I will light candles as often as possible to lower the lighting but also soften the energy.

  3. Adjust your rituals - I have started a 40day winter ritual that has my mornings awakening slowly and with a connected breath practice/ meditation. I land, I breathe, and I remind myself I can go slow right now.

  4. Nourish - I adjust my meals to more hearty stews, cooked meats and roasted vegetables. I consume porridge with ghee, nuts, cinnamon, cardemom
